Why Do Some People Really Seem To Hate Obama Care So Much?

Some People Positively Hate Obama Care!

Some of the boiled brain stems over on the intransigent Right keep on pumping their hate machines about Obama Care even though it is gaining more traction with The American People with each passing day – – despite their lies and ridiculously wrong-headed rhetoric.

One of their first ass-brained attacks against The Affordable Health Care Act was some bullshit about it being “An Unconstitutional Mandate.”

The Supreme Court Of The United States put that one to rest by upholding the Constitutionality of the Obama Care Law.

So when the obstructionist time wasters and big spenders of taxpayer money couldn’t use that failed argument anymore they turned to other things – – things like how the Obama Care will “Cost Jobs.”

Like any of them have been openly concerned about “Jobs” for a long long long time now, right?  When is the last time you heard any right winger in Congress talk about any plans to create more jobs for Americans?

All I have ever heard them talk about is how many jobs are being lost because of something Obama has or hasn’t done but I have yet to hear one of them come up with anything that sounds anything at all like a “Jobs Creation” plan – – have you?

Well – – we’ve been all through the rightist arguments about Obama Care being “Socialized Medicine” – – – like Medicare and Medicaid are nowhere near “Socialized Medicine” themselves, right?

The Right Wing “Death Panel” argument was disemboweled by fact checkers a long time ago so that don’t hold water no more.

So has anybody ever figure out why Righties seem to hate Obama Care so much?

I think I have found one answer that works.  It works for me anyways:

“I think Right-Tards hate Obama Care because most of it probably will be paid for by taxes that rich people pay – – along with taxes that everybody else will pay.

The Supreme Court – – I believe – – has called the “Mandate” a “Tax” and I think that is what is twisting the drawers of so many righties.

Of course – – check me if I am wrong – – anything and everything that has ever been done by the government to benefit the People has been paid for out of taxes, right?

So – – WTF?

A few extra bucks for health care?

What’s the big deal, righties?

After all Obama Care isn’t just going to be used by Libs, Democrats and Progressives.  There will be plenty of Conservatives, Republicans and Righties using it too won’t there?

I truly think the “Tax” thing is the whole thing in a nutshell.

I am an American Man, 72-years-old, and a Veteran of The U.S. Military. I have served honorably in both The United States Army (National Guard) and The United States Air Force for a total of seven years and three months active duty during what is now known as The Vietnam Era. I am a concerned citizen and refer to myself as "A Crazy Left Wing Liberal Nut Case with occasional Right Wing Conservative tendencies. I am particularly concerned and grieved about the way our beloved America seems to have become so politically divided over the past few years to the point where hardly anyone seems to be able to get along or to work together and where mutual vilification seems to be a spectator sport of some kind. I am particular fearful that we might get to the point, in our internal power struggles where we would be a One Party Nation. That, in my opinion, would be a total disaster and that is what I fear certain members of the element generally known as The "Christian" Conservative Right may have in mind.

  • Maybe the real question is why so many Obama drones are so in love with the “Unaffordable” Healthcare Act when 99%,have never read the contents. In fact those of those who signed it into law did so without knowing it’s contents. Or to quote Nancy Pelosi
“But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy”

Considering the negative impact and cost Obamacare is expected to have, one would think that American citizens would want to have a fundamental understanding of it prior to supporting it.

  • John,
While I am finding your one word responses some of the most thought out and relevant you have ever provided, they certainly do prove beyond a doubt your dyed in the wool liberal mindset. Ignoring all facts that run contradictory to an opinion or dropping the subject when there is a chance one will be proven wrong is a tried and true technique of the left at all levels. It has served them well, so I guess why shouldn’t it do the same for you.

  • I am proud of my died-in-the-wool Liberal mindset. At least I live in the real world and am happy to announce that we win elections because the American People trust us far more than the other side.
I don’t even know why I respond to this stuff.

  • If the best response you have is you win elections it’s a weak one. Remember all the leaders you dislike and were opposed to also won elections. Did that make their political agendas correct in your mind?

So why would the winning of an election make Obama right. Unfortunately the Democrats have learned well how to win elections, give until it hurts. Equally unfortunately it is never the takers or the left that it is hurt, it’s generally the hard working individuals that are the backbone of this country. Both the middle class and those that actually create jobs. I mean seriously, who in their right mind would defend a $2 Biliion program giving free cell phones to welfare and food stamp recipients. Even the most brain dead Obama drone must see something wrong with that? Probably not?

By the way, it looks like if she chooses to run, Hillary will be a slam dunk for the Democrats next President wanna be (Smiling Joe is ever hopeful, but seriously…..), so tell me. If she runs and has the good fortune to be the next President who will she blame any deficits she incurs on, the guy before her?

  • Well – - you are right about that one!

You ARE seemingly the only one on this site – - so you should come and check out my blogsite where there are considerable MORE comments – - – If you like me that much – - and I feel that you do because you are so nice to me.
Yeah! I appreciate you for paying attention to me. I am grateful. :) Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh my God – - thank you so very much! I love Canada – - been there a number of times – - Wawa is great in the summertime and Thunder Bay and Windsor – - and Hudson Bay – - and fried Oofs – - I have bathed in Lake Superior and it was grand.

Yes I think it is true – - like you said above, “Without me you would have no one.”

Thank you for being there for me.

God, I am such a talentless piece of trash!

    I know it!

    I admit it!

  • A funny thing happened on the way to the forum this morning!

I happened to leaf through 10 months of your archives and guess what I discovered about comments?

On almost every article I looked at there were – - – “No comments.

    Isn’t that ironic?

  • John,
I have never felt the need for an audience, I write when something interests or infuriates me. My blog is my journal, if someone finds it of interest so be it. However, when I write I do so knowing my facts are correct and that I have no blind allegiance to any individual or political party. I realize this is not how every blogger views their writing, some do it for attention or in a vain attempt to change the opinions of others.

  • “You ARE seemingly the only one on this site – – so you should come and check out my blogsite where there are considerable MORE comments”

I did that once or twice, even attempted to post comments. Unfortunately you censor your comments like the old Soviet news agency TASS, if they are not in full agreement with your opinion they don’t see print.

  • John,
You are a contradiction, your very existence in print relies on the free flow of information on the Internet without censorship, yet within your own realm you deny others the same rights and privileges.

The left often has a problem with freedoms and extending them to the masses. As they say “Socialism is for the people, not the socialists”

  • horse manure – - pure and simple!

  • Prove me wrong, let me comment on your blog uncensored, no need to fear, I will simply use facts in my comments. Or is that what scares you ?

  • My blog does not promote conservative viewpoints. There are plenty of blogs out there that do for those who are interested.

  • Funny, I never mentioned a Conservative viewpoint. I simply stated that I would use facts in my comments, I guess even you realize that the truth and Conservatism are synonymous. Like I stated in another comment, it appears you are coming around to the Right, slowly but surely.

  • Unfortunately there are “Facts” and there are “Conservative” facts and the two have no resemblance to one another. My blogs do not allow revisionism. You might find the audience you seek among the following offerings however:

  • Marques Jones-Smith

That is true, but “Conservative” facts can just be addressed as “lies” for the basis of our discussion. They are representations of rhetoric told in the form of facts but are not because they seek to reinforce preconceived notions of the way that the world works rather than challenge existing political discourse and changing it.
