There are Gay Conservatives In America?

Opinions by John Liming

There are a couple of blogs out there that are always and forever yelling and screaming about how “Homosexual” or how “Gay” some of us Liberals and Democrats and Progressives are.

The monickers that some of the up-tights and Conservative religious “do-rights like to stick on Liberals include, “Commie, Communist, Pinko, Homosexual, Gay, Pervert, Nazi, Fascist” and a few more.  They are great at casting stones.  In fact, I believe they may actually “Get Off” on it sometimes.

You see, folks, not only are many conservatives and Republicans educationally disadvantaged and easily led, but many of them are so repressed in their youth by overbearing fundamentalist-type parents that their ingrained bitterness cannot help but grow to overshadow their lives.

Many of these poor unfortunates do not realize their mental challenges  and they just cannot stomach the idea that they have to live in a world where someone else other than themselves might be a little different in the way they see or do things.

I have one question for these empty heads: “What is wrong with someone being Gay? Why do Far Right Wing Radical Gee-Zuss freak-types hate homosexual people so much? In point of fact, why do they seem to hate everyhing and everybody so much–all the time? Did someone continually put cayenne pepper in their diapers when they were very small?

Since so many Conservatives are so regressive by tradition, I think that a lot of them still believe the sun revolves around the earth. I am almost certain that most of them must believe that the world revolves around themselves.

Many conservative types are little more than deceived, mindless morons, filled with angst and hatred of the world in general and Liberals in particular, that they are actually ticking psychological time bombs just waiting for an excuse to explode and wreak havoc on something or someone.

I know it is improper and unkind to put stereotypical tags onto other people, but it seems to be the “Thing” to do among many conservatives and “Better-Than-You” (Look at me, I’m a Christian) types.  So, I do not want to be left out in the cold. I want the world to know that it is entirely possible (And statistically provable) that there are just as many, if not more, homosexuals among the Bible Thumping conservatives and religious Republicans as there are anywhere else. It is only  fair to point that out.

And I am not pointing it out because I object to Gay People or anything like that. I do, in fact, believe that Gay People should have exactly the same rights and privileges as any other American.

If I am attending the funeral of one of our brave young service men or women who have given their all for our country, for example, I really cannot tell and don’t give a Peck’s damn whether the person being eulogized was gay or not!  Gay blood and Straight blood are the same color and consistency and I get really fed up with self-righteous conservative types flaunting  their supposed superiority over other people just because there might be a little difference in choices going on.

I have a personal belief that there are, indeed, a multitude of anarchists, revolutionaries and insurrectionists among the conservative and Republican crowd because I have seen their hate signs and heard their neo-fascist rhetoric during the time of some of the so-called “Tea party” gatherings. That is old news by now.

The racist and patently Unamerican mind set of many of those rioters and demonstrators should be well established in the mind of anyone who can remember past yesterday.  It was almost universal for awhile.

By the way, I wonder how many of them there “Tea party” types are Gay?  I’m going to have to do some research on that one.

But all that is not the really juicy part of what I am writing about here today.

The juicy part is that if you look at all the sex scandals that have broken over the past decade, some interesting statistics emerge.

For example, it is reported that fully 61 per cent of all sex scandals that were thrown open to public scrutiny in the past 10 years involved either a Republican or a conservative or both.

That is quite a record for a segment of the population who is so outrageously insistent that most of their worldview is shaped by Christianity.

Now check this out!  It is further reported that of all the sex scandals that broke during that same 10 year period, more than 34  percent of them were “Gay” scandals and more than 78 percent of those were  involving some Republican politician who had a record of being strictly anti-Gay on issues and who got caught in  some situation where it came to light that he or she (As the case may be) had a same-sex partner (Lover.)

This brings to mind the almost constant insistence of this group on “Christian Family and Moral Values.”

I get the idea sometimes that “Christian Family and Moral Value’s” are shaped by Repubs and Conservatives to fit the convenience of their own needs and desires or, at best, their own situations.

Guess what else, folks? According to the figures I have been reading, if there has been a sex scandal in the past 10 years involving an under age person, in more than 60 percent of the cases, that scandal includes or involves—now wait for it—-a Republican! Woo Whooo!

If you are conservative or Republican and you are reading this, have you started thinking “Liberal Bias” yet?  That seems to be their catch all phrase for “Getting Caught With One’s Pants Down.” “Liberal Bias” is their go-to butt cover when they get exposed.

I cannot wait for the Right Wing Spin Machine to get ahold of this post, can you?
