Is it time? Are you afraid?

Yes, I am looking at you… Where are the true patriots?
I will lend the support of my blog, The Jefferson Tree, to support all the people that really think it is time to take our country back from the banks and corporations. I have called for this action for some time and I am behind and in the front lines with this movement. I believe Thomas Jefferson had it right when he said,
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
or
“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.”
I personally believe we need patriots, not politicians… and it is high time we ‘peacefully’ end this corporate takeover of our country. It will be my pleasure to keep our readers updated on the progress. Thank you for taking a stand for you are the true patriots…

Don’t let fear hold you back. Keep it peaceful but keep it going.
Fury over corporate power in the U.S. is spreading from New York across the country. Thousands have joined the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement angered by the economic slump and the role of big business in it. Hundreds of demonstrators have been arrested. But as Anastasia Churkina reports, America’s mainstream media has been largely ignoring the rapidly growing movement…
Jesse LaGreca from Occupy Wall Street talks to Fox News…this clip never made it to air, via Kyle Christopher of Occupy Wall St.’s media team.
We need everyone to stand up, speak up and stick together.
Join up now: OccupyWallStreet
The resistance continues at Liberty Square and Nationwide!

when many people in the world fight to free themselves, you people fight to in slave yourselves, you quote Thomas Jefferson but support the marxest obama admin. How will you feel when you wake up and your country is gone?
When you refer to the Obama administration as Marxist, it makes me laugh. Then I realize there are people in this world that might actually believe that crap, so in itself it begs a response…
This country is not going anywhere… When enough people, such as the Occupy Movement patriots, concern themselves with America’s future, things will change. It has nothing to do with any particular political group, they have all lost direction. They are more concerned with protecting their political future than standing up for the people.
I find fault with the entire corporate backed political system. I am for single-term limits and getting lobbyist out of congress. Replace all the professional politicians with patriots that are truly concerned with what the people want. Eliminate political parties and there process of pre-selecting which candidates we have to choose from.
Let the people choose who they want and let the people vote them in using the Internet. Eliminate contributions completely and get the lobbyist out of Washington. Let a small percentage of our taxes pay for our election process.
Obama is just the best out there, given our choices to pick from. I actually voted for McCain… and I am now so happy that he did not win. I cannot imagine where we would be if he had won.
This coming election I will vote for who I believe is best for the job, and given the choices we have been presented with, it will most likely be Obama. He has shown true leadership ability by his willingness to compromise even when he threw his party under the bus by taking the public option out of the health care package. At least he was attempting to get something done.
I will not vote for any republican this coming election. They have shown their true colors conforming to their political bosses wishes for a “One Term Obama” and their “just say no” attitude. Now they sit back and say that Obama did not accomplish anything when every one knows the republicans blocked everything.
I feel certain that by spring the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement will morph into a strong group that is completely against the corporate take-over of America and supports real change to set things right including tax reform, the elimination of lobbyist and corporate influence, single-term limits and the restructuring of our government.
I did not make mention of your remark about Obama’s marxist admin since it is so foolish it was not worth the reply…
